LEAD is deeply honored to serve as the beneficiary of the 10th Anniversary Women of Substance celebration. Funds raised directly support LEAD’s evidence-based youth development programs, helping provide hope, mentorship, and transformational opportunities for some of Houston’s most vulnerable children. Through in-school programming, Saturday enrichment experiences, and summer adventures, students are encouraged to develop a vision for their future, use empathy to positively impact others, and build the tenacity needed to overcome challenges and succeed. Support from this event helps open doors to experiences that expand students’ horizons and empower them to become confident, compassionate, and engaged community members.
