LEAD is giving back and giving thanks! LEADers and volunteers were hard at work packing and distributing boxes of fresh produce to 300 families this past Saturday. We are grateful for all who served on this cold, rainy, and windy day. Thank you for helping us serve others.
Service and civic responsibility are key developmental assets for LEADers as they grow into successful community members. It was a joy for LEADers to be joined by parents, siblings, teachers, and community volunteers. This Thanksgiving season, we gave back together.
LEAD is grateful for all our volunteers, the continued partnership with the University of Houston and the Food Insecurity Team (FIT), and our host site Lilly Grove Baptist Church. We look forward to providing nutritional education and food resources to our LEADers and greater Houston community.
SUPPORT LEAD
Giving Tuesday is next week, November 29th. LEAD is serving more than 360 youth this year! Our proven and transformational program serves students year-round, in their classrooms, on Saturdays, and during summer camps. Because of you, 100% of our programs are free to participants.
We are grateful for you and appreciate your support. Will you considering making a gift to LEAD this giving season?
LEAD prepares youth for success by providing life skills and exposure to new opportunities.
We inspire vision, empathy, and tenacity.
